I watched a lot of cartoons and movies. I draw incessantly and carry a sketchbook everywhere. I work in animation and self-publish my books. There are monsters in the streets, don't wear red. Mad bulls and monsters hate that color. I still watch cartoons.

Hi Ronnie,

How do you like the Cintiq? I've never used one ,but it seems to be the answer for my hang-up over the weird seperation between image and implement I can't shake with a standard wacom.

Mark--The Cintiq is awesome but watch out that you mind how you draw on it. The angle of approach you choose will mean comfort or pain. Paper and desks have been around for centuries and humans know, by experience, what can be optimal for comfort and ease of use. This baby is a solid piece of plastic and metal and unless you get the rotating variant (larger and more expensive) you are likely going to adapt a drawing position that could cause you RSI. Paper is light and can be rotated, and it has some "give," as well as the actual reality results of making actual marks on paper. The plastic surface--the tablet's no different really--will make your brain insist on making actual lines at first and you bear down. Ouch. So, watch them settings.

It is quite a breeze to use them since all our drawing needs are more digital these days and it simplifies matters that you draw digitally. So, avoid reaching or bending your wrist. That unyielding piece of hardware does not have ligaments and nerve endings to irritate--you do.

Aside from those dire sounding warnings, I highly recommend it. Get the rotating kind if you can afford it.

Mush--I checked out your site briefly. Good stuff. Carry on. Red Riding Hood interpretation is quite interesting. Carry on. I say board all the sequences you can write and put it in a reel so you can test it.
